Overview

This is a 5-mile linear walk along Birmingham Canal. The walk: we will walk along the Birmingham Canal passing Galton Bridge and the Round House to finish by the Brasshouse pub, a short walk or tram ride back to the City Centre and onwards to Kenrick Park if required. The canal has a well-surfaced pathway and includes some quite steep ‘hump-back’ bridges to go up and over. There are no toilet facilities on this walk until we reach the City Centre. Leader Sheila Lyons.
