Overview

From our start point of Walton Nature Country Park we pass alongside the famous Charles Waterton wall, across the golf course with views of Walton Hall and its lake. From there alongside the disused Barnsley canal, across fields and into Newmillerdam Country Park. We then walk past Kettlethorpe Hall and into the Pugneys Country Park and then onto Sandal Castle. Down to Sandal and Agbrigg railway station , from here we return to our start point by walking adjacent to the railway line.
