Overview

6.5 miles at a moderate pace, flat, easy, apart from some steep bridges, and we also go under others.

Route: through beautiful Cassiobury Park which has been voted one of London's best parks, then the Grand Union Canal with the River Gade alongside and peaceful tree lined meadows.

Lunch: picnic at a suitable spot as the pub at the end may not be serving food.

Drop out point; there is a bus stop about half way through with buses back to Watford; 2 an hour.
