An evening walk around Stanmer Park. Hike a mix of forest trails, open fields and chalky paths on this tranquil loop of Stanmer Park on the outskirts of Brighton. This walk involves hills and some uneven surfaces. Paths can be slippery in wet weather. Wear walking boots or trainers with good grip.
The number 25 bus goes from the Old Steine Bus Stop and arrives outside Stanmer Park gates.
There is paid parking available.
The walk is a short bike ride from Brighton
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. Click here (https://www.ramblers.org.uk/membership) to apply. The cost is very reasonable and there are also other benefits. Please then bring your membership card with you.
