A linear and largely flat 13 mile walk from Sudbury Hill Underground Station to Osterley Underground Station both on the Piccadilly Line. Highlights include the tranquil Horsenden Hill, the not-so-tranquil Grand Union Canal crossing over the busy North Circular Road, the River Brent, the magnificent viaduct carrying the West Coast Main line over the Brent Valley, Hanwell flight of locks, Brunel’s famous three bridges and National Trust’s Osterley House. There will be some sections of street walking to link up the different sections.
Meet outside Sudbury Hill station where coffees and fresh snacks are available. The finishing time should not be relied upon. Bring a picnic lunch but drinks, snacks and ice creams available along the walk
