Overview

A beautiful and varied circular walk from Weeting along good flat paths.

Firstly we will walk to Brandon and then head to the edge of Lakenheath Nature Reserve (toilets available).  Then we continue to Hockwold for our picnic lunch either in the church grounds or at the village playing field.  A pub (The Red Lion) is also available for those wishing to have a lunchtime drink.  After lunch we will return to Weeting via forest and heath grassy paths.  Sections of the walk will be close to the Little Ouse river at times and these include a Lock, Weir, Sluices and even an Aqueduct.
