Overview

We will meet at the Visitor Centre, Eglinton Country Park, Irvine and walk at a leisurely pace for four miles, taking in the Suspension Bridge, Tournament Bridge and Sourlie Woods nature reserve.  We will pause to enjoy the view from Cairnmount and its standing stones then pass the Dovecot and go back to the Visitor Centre for tea.

Cunninghame Ramblers, North Ayrshire is offering this as an introductory walk.  It is free and open to all.  Participants should be able to walk four miles on forest trails and natural paths with only minor inclines.  All that walkers will need are comfortable shoes or walking boots, clothes to suit the weather and water to drink.
