Overview

Catch the 272 bus to Fox House from Sheffield Interchange Stand D2 at 9:46. Leader will get on the bus at Banner Cross. The walk starts from Fox House at 10:15 (or when the bus arrives).

A familiar route: from Longshaw over to the Grouse, then Froggatt Edge with some ascent before reaching Curbar Gap. We continue past the Eagle Stone and finally down the hill into Baslow. We'll be walking on good tracks, just a bit stony in one section. No stiles and only 374 feet of total ascent.

There are toilets at the start at Longshaw and at the finish at Baslow Nether End. The 218 bus runs back to Sheffield from there on the hour and 25 past.

Please contact the leader in advance if you have not walked with the group before. No dogs please.

You can see a map of the route by clicking on the small map icon to enlarge it.
