Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.
A moderate 11 mile walk through coed y wenault woods, over Craig yr Allt ridgeway and through castell coch grounds starting from Wenault Road Cardiff.
Involves looks of undulating walking through woods and a moderate climb over Craig yr Alt ridgeway, giving views across Cardiff on a clear day. Followed by a descent onto the taff trail before a gradual climb and short descent to castell coch for lunch. The return is via Tongwynlais and across Whitchurch golf course. Pub stop available at the end. Park on Wenault hill near the right turning into coed y Wenault street.
Drive up Wenault Roadand just before it crosses over the motorway there is a right hand turning into coed y Wenault street where there is plenty of free parking.
