Overview

A walk combining a number of river crossings with views from higher ground of the Anton Valley and its surroundings.  The route crosses open farmland and passes through narrower, enclosed woodland paths.   We start in the midst of the West Down Nature Reserve and drop down the hill for a short section of the Test Way before heading off to open farmland.   From the northern most point, we head south-east towards Wherwell and the delightful Chilbottom Cow Common.  There are no stiles on this walk but it does have a couple of inclines, one of which is quite steep.
