We are Coalville Ramblers - a friendly group based in the heart of the National Forest. We offer a programme of 3 walks each week, from 5 miles to 10 plus.

We will be completing a circular walk from West Leake passing through Sutton Bonnington & Normanton on Soar villages.
Riverside walking & open field views, limited woodland there will be some stiles but all easy enough to manage.
There will be a coffee break. I am hoping to take our lunch break at a village hall which has a community tea room, please feel free to purchase some refreshments.
There will also be an optional pub stop at the end of the walk.
This walk will include a river crossing on the 'Chain Ferry' which is the only one in the East Midlands and dates from 1771.
There will be a toilets at the end of the walk at the pub 'The Star Inn' at West Leake.
