Overview

This walk goes along the Meon Valley Trail, South Downs Way to Exton, an attractive Hampshire village. We then climb up to Beacon Hill, taking the Monarch's Way to Warnford. Along tracks, through woods and back to the cars through the church yard of St John the Evangelist Church walking past the grave of Thomas Lord. 

Short sections of road walking on minor roads.

This is a picnic walk, please bring lunch, snacks and drinks.

There are a number of stiles and a steep climb to Beacon Hill. Could be muddy in parts and poles are advisable if used.

Please let me know if you are joining this walk as we may leave earlier than 10.00 if all known walkers have arrived.
