A lovely circular walk starting at the side of the River Wharfe. We make our way through Linton and take country roads and fields up to our lunch stop at Sicklinghall.
After lunch we wind through Stockeld Park and meet up with the Harland way, taking the old disused railway line back in to Wetherby.
Once at our destination, there are plenty of cafés and pubs to choose from to finish off a well spent day!
🅿️ Meet at the bandstand in Wilderness pay & display car park (currently £3.65 all day)
🚌 X98 bus from Leeds (09:35) and X70 bus from Harrogate (09:55), the meeting point is a couple of minutes walk from the bus station
🚻 There are toilets shortly after we start walking in the town centre
🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch
🐶 Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times
🫖🍺 After the walk we will head to one of Wetherby’s cafés or pubs for refreshments.
