Overview

The clocks go back on this day so you will have an extra hour to get the walk. Of course, it begins to get dark earlier which will need to be factored in to future trips. This is an enjoyable fairly local route tackling Wetton Hill (1175 ft) and Ecton Hill (1175 ft). The paths are fairly well established as we visit a former lead mine and pass the powder room on the decent to the Manifold Trail. We follow the River Manifold to return to the car park.
