Overview

Overview: The walk starts from the village hall, a short walk down to the footpath, then through Steelhall Woods and crags to Embley. From there we head south and west to Stone House and then east to Hackford and to the road, where after a short walk head north to Rye Hill and Rowley Head, then east to Salmon Field, returning to Whitley Chapel via Aydon Shields. Depending on weather conditions, we will hopefully have wonderful views.

Terrain: Fields, forest tracks, some road walking, gravel paths. Please note very muddy and wet underfoot, gaiters and poles recommended.
