We are the South East Berks Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is one of our favourite walks on which you will (probably) see a variety of wildlife plus a 275 year old college. We use part of a West Berkshire Recreational Route and a short section of the River Pang which is a chalk stream at this point.
Note that there are a few short hills and possibly some mud.
The photos were taken on our pre-walk.
There will be an optional pub lunch after the walk at the Queens Head in Bradfield Southend. Orders to shirley@poulty-towers.co.uk by New Year's Eve. The menu link will be available shortly. The pub is dog friendly, serves Good Old Boy (well it did when we pre-walked it) and has locally made proper pies on the menu.
