Overview

A walk across several south west London commons and a royal park following the route of the Beverley Brook. Can be muddy in parts; some road walking where the Brook goes underground. From Wimbledon station we walk through Wimbledon Village to the Common. We cross the Common on the footpath through so-called Caesar’s Camp and pick up the Brook at the bottom. We walk to and through Richmond Park and then on to Palewell and Barnes Commons. We reach the Thames near Putney Bridge within easy reach of Putney Bridge tube or Putney mainline station
