A walk that encircles (but only by three-quarters) Weald village. It is ideal for winter as it includes many tracks, but there are hills and fields and stiles to negotiate too. The Greensand Way section provides us with good views over the surrounding countryside.
The Wealden clay can become very muddy and slippery, so sticks would be useful.
There are benches and tables available for our nibble break.
The Windmill pub at the end of the walk provides wind shelter and overhead cover, outside and in.
