A charming countryside walk winding through the tranquil valleys of the Medway and Eden rivers. The route takes us via the picturesque village of Penshurst, home to its impressive manor house and surrounded by classic Kentish scenery.
Expect gentle terrain with one stile to cross and the possibility of muddy sections depending on recent weather.
Well-behaved small dogs are welcome but must remain on a short lead throughout the walk.
Nibble break part way round and a pub at the end.
Park tidily in the Spotted Dog car park.
The pub has very kindly offered the use of their car park for walkers. In return, they ask that some members of the group stay on for lunch or a drink. To assist with this, the walk leader will check how many people wish to eat after the walk and notify the pub before setting off.
