We are the Windsor & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A walk in East Berkshire seeing the 15th century Ockwells Manor and the medieval church at Shottesbrooke in its splendid parkland setting. We will stop for a picnic lunch by White Waltham cricket pitch. The route is fairly flat along some quiet roads, on tracks and along the edge of fields. Bring a packed lunch and a drink.

Meet in the free car park in Ockwells Park, Ockwells Road, Cox Green, Maidenhead. It is signposted from junction 9A of the A404. The number 7 bus from Frascati Way, Maidenhead to Woodlands Park passes the end of Cox Green Lane which is a 7-minute walk away. There are toilets in Ockwells Park at the start of the walk.
