Overview

This is a joint coach trip with Slough U3A to visit Cambridge. For those who like to explore there is an optional 4 mile morning walk to visit Grantchester. This is where the TV series of the same name was filmed. You can bring your own lunch or visit The Orchard Tea Garden for lunch in Grantchester. The walk is fairly flat along the River Cam via the meadows. This will leave you a couple of hours in the afternoon to visit the attractions in Cambridge. Meet in the car park at 8.45am to board the coach which will leave at 9am. We plan a comfort break on the journey, The coach will leave Cambridge at 4pm for the return journey back to Slough.
