This is a easy walk along a stretch of the Thames Path, through Laleham Park and then exploring the conservation area of Laleham Village. There is plenty of historical interest in this village, which dates back to at least the 10th century .
The walk is almost entirely flat, about half the paths are surfaced, the other half across grass and dirt paths which may be muddy after rain. No stiles. Bring a drink and snack. Refreshments are available in Notcutts Garden Centre at the end of the walk.
Bus 458 from Staines Elmsleigh Bus Station is every 30 minutes. Get off at the stop just by Notcutts Garden Centre (takes about 10 minutes). Then the road called Riverway is just across the road.
This walk is taken from Laleham Residents Association "A walk around Laleham Village" pamphlet. The walk was originally planned by Susan de Pear on behalf of the Society.
