We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk follows the paths, tracks and lanes through the fields and countryside around Yattendon. From the carpark, we head South then West passing south of Frilsham before turning North and West to reach Little Hungerford. From here, we take the old railway line to Hampstead Norreys where we continue North and East making for Ashampstead Green. Here, we turn South heading back to Yattendon before returning to the carpark. The going is likely to vary from good to soft/very soft and wet in some areas; there is one stile in good condition.
We walk through one field planted with a large-leaved crop - gaiters are recommended. We may well come across a large variety of fungi.
Please come prepared for the weather – there is one quite exposed section on the walk - and conditions underfoot.
Please bring sufficient food and drink for the day.
