Meeting Currie Library Car Park, Lanark Road West 9.00 am for 9.15 departure

 

Start walk approx 10am  at Yellowcraigs car park, Ware Road EH39 5DS

Parking £3 card or cash; toilets in car park.

 

Walk Description:

We shall walk along the beach to North Berwick, skirting around the golf courses

Toilets and lunch stop in North Berwick.

We shall return skirting the other side of the golf courses, along parts of the John Muir Way using some pavement walking and finishing through woods.

Because of this terrain the numbers are limited to18

 

 The stones on the beach walking can be very slippery,  decent footware necessary and poles if you use them.

Driving instructions:

Turn left at Gillespie Crossroads, then left onto Bypass A720 signed Berwick on tweed

Continue on ByPass to the end then merge onto A1 signed Berwick on Tweed.

At Bankton junction take A198 signed North Berwick

Continue on A198 through Longniddry, Aberledy and Gullane

Turn left onto B 1345 signed Dirleton . After castle and before leaving Dirleton, take road on left to Yellow craigs
