Overview

Join this fortnightly walk through the picturesque grounds of the Lowther estate from Eamont Bridge towards the Lowther caravan park. If you are in luck you may see some deer or red squirrels! Our intention for this group is to provide a gentle, inclusive route for opportunities to be active and socialise whilst walking together. All welcome- walkers, parents and buggies and wheel chair users who want to get out in the fresh air for around an hour; the walk is fairly flat and is 2.5 miles. The route is an out and back which provides scope for rests, shorter distance or the whole hog – join us and walk as far as you feel comfortable. Please visit ramblers.org.uk and search Wellbeing Walks for specific walk dates and more details.
