Join us every Wednesday for a refreshing Teignmouth adventure! We set out together for a Grade 2–3 walk lasting about 60–90 minutes and covering 2–4 miles (around 3–6 km). Most routes include hills, so a little stamina is helpful! 🐾 Well-behaved dogs on leads (one per owner) are welcome to join the fun.
Along the way, we love learning about local history and nature, chatting with each other 😁, and taking in the beautiful scenery.
At the end of every walk, we stop for refreshments at a pub or café 👍Because what’s a friendly walk without a cuppa?
Come along, connect with others, and give yourself the gift of fresh air, good company, and a little adventure!
When and where:
We meet near Teignmouth Pier around 10:00 am, ready to leave at 10:15 am if it’s a local walk. However, many of our walks involve bus rides, so please bring your bus pass or cash. We also enjoy occasional car-share trips or train journeys before starting our walks.
Don’t worry, you’ll always know what’s coming up because we email a list of future walks 6–8 weeks in advance.
If you have any questions about the walk, please contact Jean on 07532 347345 or via the Facebook page – the link is below.
Further recommendations and walk information:
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes ahead of walk start times especially if you are a new walker to the group. We recommend wearing sturdy comfortable footwear.
A ‘Sign Up’ Form will need to be completed before taking part in the walks, either in advance or at your first walk.
We provide an ICE card (In Case of Emergency) for you to complete and carry on walks. This is for emergency contact and any medical conditions you want to share.
