A circular walk through contrasting landscapes...ancient drovers' road, Rambling along stretches of old drovers' lanes, walking alongside the beautiful River Itchen, and passing through some isolated and historic Hampshire villages.
The trek starts in the Car Park of New Alresford Town Council Car Park (off the Avenue). There is plenty of parking space, with a low cost parking fee. Toilets are available, as is a very pleasant cafe, selling tea and cakes etc.
Car sharing is encouraged.
Please remember to bring refreshments for the morning "coffee stop" and picnic lunch.
We meet and park in the parking area situated in front of the New Alresford Town Council building, which lies just out of the centre of the Town, alongside The Avenue.
