Overview

Starting from the Community Hall, we cross to the churchyard and then follow the Test Way through the village, cross the A343 then diverting after a short while to reach Dolomans Lane. We follow the lane uphill to the Windmills and zigzag to Windmill Hill Down before continuing westward to Pill Heath. At the crossroads we turn south east to Doles Farm and then north east to Hurstbourne Common. Re-crossing the A343 we walk along the edge of Doles Copse then turn northwards and descend steeply to the village and the Community Hall.

Hopefully we will see extensive bluebells in Hurstbourne Common and Doles Copse, seasonal conditions permitting.

There are only a few stiles on the route.
