We will walk from Cambourne on tracks and good paths to Knapwell. On the way we pass through part of Hope Farm which is owned by the RSPB and is used to study the impact of changing agriculture methods on wildlife. We will see the area set up to increase butterfly numbers. We will then go to Boxworth via Knapwell wood which has large numbers of wild flowers growing. Upon entering Boxworth we will walk to the Church before taking the Bridleway to Lulworth. We then walk to Childerley to view the impressive hall and gardens before taking the path to Cambourne.
The Monkfield Arms is close to the car park so refreshments can be taken at the end of the walk.
You will need to have with you packed lunch and all refreshments.
Potential for sheltered parts of the walk to be muddy so boots are recommended.
