We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This 6.13 mile walk starts at Chieveley Village Hall. We walk to Downend and on to Gidley Farm then on to Mud Lane and Hillgreen then on to Chapel Farm and through a lovely valley to North Heath returning to Chieveley via Hazelhanger Farm and permitted path.
Generally good walking with some muddy patches following winter flooding.
There is no restriction on number and no requirement to book. Bring food and drink for a mid morning break.
Chieveley Village Hall Overflow Car Park. On arrival at Chieveley Village Hall, please park in the overflow car park on the right of the entrance. We have been given permission to use the car park but we are requested to use the over flow unless very wet conditions.
