Overview

Moderate pace through the Garden of England.  Two castles, a stately home, lovely Kent villages, rivers, woods and undulating hills.  We walk via Chiddingstone and Penshurst and along the Medway Valley.

Lunch at Chiddingstone castle/village.  Picnic with cafes and pub for drinks and loos.

Ice cream and loo stop at Penshurst Castle mid afternoon

Train: London Bridge 10.07: East Croydon 10.22  Arrives Hever 10.49 (Uckfield train)

Buy return ticket to Leigh (Kent) which should be OK but small supplement may be required.

No loos at either station.
