Overview

This brisk undulating walk follows the path of the River Ash to the studios, galleries and garden of the sculptor Henry Moore. With views over the Amwell Nature Reserve we walk over fields and through woods watched by Red Kites circulating above.
At Henry’s place we get to see his monumental sculptures in the landscape.

We have 2.5 hours at Henry’s place, this includes time for lunch, before walking back down the hill to pick up the bus that takes us to the station.

Entrance to the studios and garden is £18, £16.50 for 65+.  £9, £8.25 for 65+ with an Art Pass, all tickets valid for a year.

Drop out possible at bus stop before the gardens if we get there by 1.15.

Use toilets on the train. Toilets at lunch.
