Overview

Following on from March's walk, we continue along the Lea Valley Walk from Tottenham Hale to Waltham Cross.  A peaceful and easy walk mainly along the towpath, though the sound of traffic is seldom far away and we are likely to be overtaken by cyclists and runners.  We leave the towpath roughly half way between Waltham Cross and Waltham Abbey.

Lunch:  Picnic or pub at Ponders End.

Train:  Tottenham Hale (Zone 3) is served by the Victoria Line and National Rail.  Return from Waltham Cross (Zone 7). Freedom Pass holders buy single from Waltham Cross to Enfield Lock.

Please note: many factors can affect how long a walk takes and the finish time given is an estimate only.
