We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will leave Longparish via the Test Way, entering Harewood Forest for a long trek to Wherwell, where we will have "coffee". Leaving Wherwell, we continue our hike to Goodworth Clatford, then walk to the edge of Andover.
We will walk along the historic Ladies Walk, looking down and across the old market town of Andover. Our lunch stop will be overlooking the Andover skyline, before we then return to Longparish via The Middleway.
En route we will be able to take in "the best" of the historic and pretty villages of Wherwell and Goodworth Clatford.
Car parking is readily available at Longparish Village Hall.
Car sharing is encouraged.
Please remember to bring refreshments along for both our brief morning coffee and lunchtime stops.
The Village Hall has two car parks...one adjacent to the hall itself, and the other diagonally across the road. We typically use the latter.
