The Aberystwyth Group of the Ramblers operates in the northern half of Ceredigion in Mid Wales. It is part of the nationwide Ramblers organisation which represents the interests of walkers throughout Great Britain.
The activities and interests of the Aberystwyth Group are as follows:
The Group leads a programme of walks in the area. Click on this link to view Aberystwyth Group Winter Walks Programme ( 1st November 2018 to 29th April 2019). The complete programme for the rest of the current half year can also be found in on this page (click on "more walks" to expand list and print off or download as a pdf). Non-members (including visitors to the area) are welcome to come along for up to three walks before they are expected to join the Ramblers.
On all walks we will encounter sheep therefore the Group requests walkers not to bring their dogs. An exception would be made for Registered Assistance Dogs, in which case the Walk Leader should be contacted to ensure the walk is suitable (access over stiles etc).
Please see our page on Walks Information and Safety if you would like to join us on a walk.
