A day out on the scenic Cambrian Coast railway with a walk along the Wales Coast Path from Llanbedr & up the steepest street in the world to Harlech where lunch will be taken. The route from Llanbedr crosses the Artro river estuary at Pensarn on its way to Llandanwg where there is a 12th century church in the sand dunes. The view before this descent is magnificent with the Snowdonian Mountains & Tremadoc Bay (visibility permitting). After the mile & a quarter on the beach the path turns E to reach a road leading into Harlech & up the very steep street (about 150 metres) to the Castle. Lunch is available at 2 or possibly 3 cafes or you can bring your own.
