Overview

Fancy something a little different for our next walking group social?  We’re planning a group outing to go alpaca trekking across Baildon Moor with AlTreka.  Here's a description from their website:

"Hello and welcome to AlTreka, where your alpaca dreams become a reality!  Adventure. Laughter. Alpacas. Right here on Baildon Moor!  Get ready for an experience full of fresh air, furry friends and big smiles, not to mention memories which will last a lifetime.  At AlTreka, we bring the joy of the outdoors to life with guided alpaca treks across Baildon’s breathtaking moorland".

The trek will last an hour and it could be muddy, so please bring your wellies or walking boots.  The maximum number for this booking is 12, and the cost is £25 per person. We'll meet at the junction of Hope Lane, Somerset Avenue and the Green Lane Bridleway at 6.45pm.  Please be on time as we need to walk up to AlTreka for the 7pm trek start time.  After we've finished, we can then head in to Baildon for a few drinks if people want to.

Please email me at socials@takeahike.org.uk to book on.  I will then provide you with my bank details to receive payment.  All monies must be paid by 31st March.  Hope to see you there!
