Overview

Please join us for a 12.4 mile linear walk from Worcester foregate street station to Pershore station which will be based on the combined routes 2 and 3 of the Cotswold and Malvern rail trail, but without visiting Worcester parkway station

The route progresses through Worcester to Nunney wood and the Worcester country park(with toilets! and a coffee break), Mucknell farm (lunch break) Wolverton Hall (with it's folley) and Peopleton before returning to Pershore station

A detour has had to be incorporated due to the footbridge at Mill House being closed for renovation as it is deemed unsafe. This does get us very close to the Folley.

There are a couple of muddy patches  so please wear appropriate footwear. There are no major climbs and 6 stiles. There is plenty of sheep on the route. Only one major road (A44) right at the end of the route. Please drinks and lunch.

Meet at Pershore station to catch the 0857 train to Foregate Street, There is parking at the station, which is much emptier at the weekend

12.4 miles 604 feet total ascent
