Group name: North West Kent
This group is a part of Kent Area.
Our activities include:
Path maintenance, Short and easy walks
Our groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Walking with us is a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. Being part of a walking group encourages and motivates you to show up for walks regularly.
Most of our members come from London Borough of Bexley. We also have many members from other London Boroughs and from Kent. We walk mostly in Kent, Surrey, and East Sussex. We also lead walks in London including outer boroughs.
We provide walks every Wednesday and some Week-Ends, either half day or whole day walk that include a lunch break at the half way stage, when we can socialise and enjoy refreshments in a pub or picnic nearby. Short walks are up to 7 miles at an easy pace; Medium walks are up to 9 miles at a leisurely pace and Long walks are 10 to 14 miles at a moderate to faster pace.
Come and Join Us: We are a very friendly group who welcome people of all ages. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore. We also run Group holidays to destinations in this country and abroad, which are very popular.
