Lincolnshire is comprised of 9 local groups and in addition, we have a 20's to 40's Group specifically for younger folk of the Area.
We help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. We help look after paths and green spaces, open up new places to explore and act as the leading voice on walking matters. We also support our local groups to organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.
The historic county of Lincolnshire lies on the east coast of Britain between the Humber Estuary and The Wash.
The most scenic part of the county is the 'The Lincolnshire Wolds', designated as one of Britain's ‘Area's of Outstanding Natural Beauty.’ (AONB). However, the other areas of the county have plenty of interesting scenery and walks to offer.
The county has several long distance footpaths – some linear such as The Johnson Silver Lincs Way between Grimsby and Louth, others circular, such as the Plogsland Round circling the city of Lincoln.
