West Lancashire Group-our walks

Coronavirus update

Following Lancashire being placed under Tier 3 restrictions we shall plan our walks so they take place the within the county boundary. It will still be necessary to book a place on a walk in advance.
Walks are added to our website as they become open for booking-usually about three weeks before the date of the walk. To help with social distancing the number of people on each walk will be limited at the leader's discretion. To book contact the leader by phone or text. The leader will confirm the starting time and give details of the exact starting point. If you intend joining a walk then please read the guidance on
Ramblers Restart: Taking part in COVID-safe walks

The Group walks programme has 3  walks each month around the year.
Each month we lead Wednesday and Sunday walks. At the moment all our walks are in, or close to, West Lancashire and are 5 or 6 miles long taking about 3 hours. Normally at the start of each month we have a 7 or 8 mile weekend walk, often out of West Lancashire, and these will .re-start once Coronavirus restrictions come to an end.
