Oswestry Ramblers welcome people who enjoy walking and the countryside. We walk twice a week mainly in Shropshire and Wales and help improve local footpaths.
From Chirk via Bronygarth, Offa’s Dyke Path, Craignant, Fronheulog, and Quinta. Approx 400m ascent. Steady ascent and descent on good paths and some lanes. Hopefully extensive views over Ceiriog Valley, Chirk Estate and North Shropshire plain. This will be a joint walk with Rail Rambles groups in memory of Chris. Opportunity for tea at Caffi Wylfa afterwards. Please note later meeting and starting times which are to fit with train times for the Rail Ramblers arrival.
