Overview

We begin on a flat section of clear track belonging to the old tramway the only obstacles being a fallen tree which can be passed and a short eroded section of the river bank. From Pandy there is a climb which is steep in part. The path is clear but muddy and eroded by trail bikes in sections. We reach a section of tarmac road at 3 miles and views open up. A stony track then climbs steadily to the watershed and views are good. The final section is across some tussocky grass and sheep pasture. A final descent takes us down to the start. The leader will meet you at the start of the walk.
