We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a figure of 8 walk which starts off from The Cleveland Bay in Valley Park, Chandlers Ford. The walk consists of some paths, which are likely to be quite muddy with all the rain that we have had and also good concrete paths which will be fine. We will also be walking in the woods. There are no stiles and no steep hills apart from one very manageable long incline. The walk will be approximately 4.5 miles in the morning and 2.5 miles in the afternoon. Lunch will be at The Cleveland Bay pub.
There will be some very muddy water logged patches so sturdy footwear or wellies are necessary and poles would be very useful.
