Overview

This walk starts from the Olivers Battery Recreation Ground car park ( SO22 4HT ) at 10.00.

We walk through Twyford for a coffee stop then picnic lunch overlooking Winchester near Cheesefoot Head. After 11 miles we arrive at Winchester bus station and get the No 5 back to Oliver's Battery. ( Bring your bus pass )

Good tracks and a short road section but expect some mud on the South Downs Way.
