🌿 Join us for a picturesque stroll from Tewkesbury down through Combe Hill, Deerhurst and Apperly taking in the picturesque scenery as we go. 🥰

👣 Hike Description:
From Tewkesbury, we'll make our way south via the more scenic side of Priors Park before making our way south through Treadington (tread carefully) and Combe Hill.
At Combe Hill there's a little cafe should anyone want to grab a quick drink or snack, then we'll make our way west alongside Combe Hill Canal and wetlands (with the current weather this should be fairly dry).
From there it's pretty much up through Lower Apperley & Deerhurst all the way back up alongside the River Severn.
Once back at Tewkesbury there's an optional detour for ice cream or a pub drink before heading back to the cars. If you don't want ice cream, that's fine, we'll drop you off at the car park before heading into town.

* Should be ample parking, but always beneficial to car poole where you can. Should be £4 for all day parking.

Dogs are not permitted on this walk, except for registered assistance dogs. If you have any concerns about route suitability, please consult with the walk leader beforehand.

We encourage you to take photos on our walks, but we ask that you do not share photos that include people’s faces publicly (including Meetup) without their clear permission.
Occasionally, group photos may be taken during walks. The photographer will always tell you where these will be shared, such as Meetup, the 20s and 30s members’ WhatsApp group, or for promotional purposes on the Gloucestershire Walking Group website.
If you do not want to be in a photo, please step aside.
