Overview

Steep climb through woodland to the viewpoint of Pen-y-pigyn. Forest tracks followed by field paths on high land overlooking the Dee Valley. Descent to the village of Cynwyd to take the North Berwyn Way which gives a level and direct route back to Corwen.

The walk has a short stretch through high bracken for which poles might be handy. Otherwise it’s mostly clear paths and tracks
