Overview

For anyone new to this leisurely paced moorland walk it includes Darwen Tower and a stop at the (pictured) 1945 crash site/memorial where 24 year old Warrant Officer Herbert Noga from 316 (Polish) Squadron RAF died when his American Mustang plane crashed in low cloud and mist after engine failure.

Please text (only) 07934 966136 for any queries.

If the weather's good there should be fine moorland views care of a couple of steep ascents! 😂
