We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is an 8.8 miles circular route starting at NT Great Copse car park with lunch at the Black Horse West Tytherley.
The route is a figure of eight, but the crossover is not at the pub. Anyone wishing to do a shorter walk of c. 4.5 miles could join at the coffee stop (approx 11.00) at East Tytherley church where there is plenty of parking, walk to the BH, have lunch then walk back with the group to their car at the church (approx 14.30).

An essentially level route through woodland and farmland with a handful of stiles but no difficult surfaces.
The lunch stop will be at the Black Horse, West Tytherley; a traditional village pub. If you wish to eat there, please have a look at the attached menu and pass your choice to the leader by midday on 7th October so that a pre-order can be sent to the publican.
Anyone wishing to make their own picnic lunch arrangements will find bench seating, or a bus shelter, opposite the pub.
