For anyone new to this pleasant walk it includes the tower and a respectful visit to the memorial and (pictured) 1945 crash site where 24 year old Warrant Officer Herbert Noga from 316 (Polish) Squadron RAF died when his American Mustang plane crashed in low cloud and mist after engine failure.
